One Post, 4 Current Events, Things You Might Like to Know

No, all four things do not really relate.  This is a compilation post of things I have been thinking about before I head off to the Adoptee Rights Demonstration...

------Pregnant Teen Fashion is All the Rage?------
The last I heard, pink was the new black and orange was the new pink.  I try to keep that in mind when choosing my wardrobe (but everything in my closet seems to end up being the same shades of blue, green, and black anyway).  But all of that may have been replaced with, you guessed it, teen pregnancy.

Perhaps with MTV bringing to the TV screens of young people the intimate lives of pregnant teens in their hit TV series Teen Mom and 16-and-Pregnant and now their new docuseries "Baby High," we are now realizing that teen moms need fashion marketed to them too.  So Forever 21 comes out with 5 new stores, three of which are located in the states with the highest teen pregnancy rates.

-------Two Year Old Undergoing Fertility Procedure?---------
Mixed emotions fly with this one.  On one hand, a mother is anticipating her daughter's future adulthood.  Infertility can also involve extremely painful and stressful procedures, in addition to the emotional disappointment of not being able to conceive.  She wants to save her daughter from that.  On the other hand, her daughter is only two and is already very sick and this would be subjecting her to a procedure on top of what she's already going though.  There's a chance she would be subjecting her to an unnecessary procedure and that the ovary would still not work later on any way.
