Someone Just Check the Math on this for me, OK?

I am not very good at math but I think I calculated this about right.

Thank you, that is all.

  1. Steve Jobs' was born approximately 10 months after my birth. I wish some of his genius genes could have been passed through something like a computer virus. After I die, I sure hope nobody is talking about my mother who gave birth to me or even for the matter discussing my adoptive mother and how often she wasn't nice to me. My mother's choices, regardless if one thinks abortion is right or wrong are nobody elses business. My husband could been aborted and he wasn't adopted. It doesn't define who I am today and I certainly don't want to be valued more or be considered less of a human being because I was adopted at birth.

  2. Honestly, I think it is pathetic that the grasp is at the fact that a child could have been aborted. A reality is that it is bull*. Any child could have been aborted.

I honestly pray that, when I pass, my daughter doesn't go around talking smack about me. I don't want to think she thinks that little of herself.

  4. Love it! I was DUMBFOUNDED as I was laying in bed that night and reading the FB posts praising god that his mother "chose life". I'm an adoptee and AP. Here's what I posted on my wall that night and my follow up the next morning:

"I'm proud that Steve Jobs was a fellow adoptee but honestly in the year he was born, single pregnant unwed women didn't really have a choice in raising their children. It's beautiful that he was an adoptee but forgotten history of of those times and the "girls that went away" was the norm. Not looking to be flamed but adoption was more or less a forced issue and far from a choice. It was pre R vs West and social workers forced placement. Respect is not only deserving of APs but the women whose rights to raising their children were coerced and violated. Peace."

"I posted this before I fell asleep last night after seeing people saying they were happy that his birth mom chose life. If only every day people knew and understood how a young unwed pregnant woman was treated back then. The talking points pushed by social workers and maternity homes are available to read. It's heartbreaking to see how young women were treated in our country. Actually no different than the "3rd world" countries most Americans adopt from today. No disrespect from me just educating on the sad facts."

I was thankful that I received positive comments from my AP friends as well as my fellow adoptees.

  5. PS...you can tell that it was posted from my phone because the "W" in Wade autocorrected as "West"...lol! Autocorrect and Ambian don't make for good spelling :)

  6. I ran your calcuations through my atom-smashing supercomputer and have concluded that your results are 100% accurate.
