Lost Daughters Panel, American Adoption Congress Conference, Boston, March 2015.

November 16, 2013 Amanda will be presenting on the policy panel among an amazing list of presenters at the Adoption Policy and Reform Collaborative's "Reframing the Adoption Discourse" conference which will be held in St. Paul, Minnesota.  The panel will cover a spectrum of policy issues important to adult adoptees.

July 17, 2013 Amanda testified at a hearing in the Children and Youth Committee in favor of HB 162.

June 4-27, 2013 Some of Amanda's artwork was selected and displayed at Delaware County Community College's Marple campus at their first ever Art and Childhood Development Exposition.

April 13, 2013 1:45pm Amanda presented at the Civil Liberties and Public Policy "From Abortion Rights to Social Justice: Building the Movement for Reproductive Freedom" conference. Amanda will be featured alongside graduate students Marisa Howard-Karp and Kate Livingston, sociologist Dr. Gretchen Sisson, and master social worker Susan Harris O'Connor of Children's Services of Roxbury Inc. on a panel entitled "The Other A-Word: Adoption and Reproductive Justice." The panel will discuss the intersection of abortion and adoption, lay a framework for respectful dialogue on adoption issues, and explore how to best-support adoptees, adoptive families, and original families.

October 27, 2012 Amanda was a speaker and Co-Master of Ceremony for a charity fashion show benefiting Neighborhood Services Center. She presented information of the services and needs of Information & Referral, food pantry, and direct services agencies.

July 26, 2012 Amanda traveled to D.C. with the Adoption Policy and Reform Collaborative to meet privately as a group with Congressional staffers and the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute to discuss pertinent policy issues facing adult adoptees.

March 21, 2012 Amanda was a panelist at the “We are All Macro” Social Work event at West Chester University.

October 16, 2011 At the Three Rivers Community Foundation's "Building Change, Convergence for Social Justice," Amanda presented a workshop on adoptee birth certificate access in Pennsylvania along with University of Pittsburgh professor, Marianne Novy.

October 7, 2011 Amanda presented a brief history of adoptee original birth certificate access policy in Pennsylvania at the University of Pittsburgh Adoption Film Festival.

July 25, 2010 Amanda was among the booth staff at the National Convention of State Legislators providing legislators and their staff with education on post-adoption policies.
